Janitor Richard Goodall Delivers an Unforgettable Rendition of Journey’s ‘Faithfully’

 

 

Richard always had a deep love for music while growing up in a small Indiana town, but his commitments in life forced him to choose a more sensible route. He didn’t decide to try out for America’s most popular talent show until friends and coworkers urged him. In addition to showcasing his vocal prowess, his performance demonstrated his capacity to emotionally connect with both the words and his audience.

Many people were moved by Goodall’s rendition of “Faithfully,” which reflected his struggle to strike a balance between his daily obligations and his aspirations.
