Richard Goodall reveals recent health setbacks that could keep him from taking the stage at the upcoming major show

Richard Goodall, the beloved winner of America’s Got Talent Season 19, recently opened up about his ongoing health struggles, which may impact his anticipated appearance at Indiana State University’s men’s basketball home opener on November 7. Originally scheduled to perform the National Anthem and give a special halftime show, Goodall shared that he is still recovering from hernia surgery and a dental procedure, leaving his participation uncertain.

 

 

 

 

In his heartfelt update, Goodall expressed deep gratitude for his wife, Angie, who has been a constant source of support throughout his recovery. “I love this woman more than anyone can possibly know,” he wrote. “These past 7 days have been tough on me. Wednesday afternoon, I had hernia surgery—still in pain! And today, I got all my bad teeth taken out. And still in pain. She has taken care of me without complaint. Love you to the moon and back!”

Angie’s devotion has provided comfort to Goodall, who has long been admired not only for his vocal talent but also for his humility and gratitude.
