America’s Got Talent Finals: Richard Goodall’s Highly Praised Performance
Following Goodall’s riveting performance of Journey’s 1983 smash song “Faithfully,” the audience exploded into thunderous applause following his final appearance in the America’s Got Talent finale. The audience applauded loudly, even as host Terry Crews turned to face the judges and ask them for their comments.
The first person to speak was Heidi Klum, who had given Richard the Golden Buzzer. She declared that ever since their initial encounter on the show, she had been his “biggest fan.” Honoring his moral fiber, she informed the AGT 2024 contender:
“Man, you are truly incredible. You have such kindness and humility. You’re a little reserved as well, but when you’re in front of the mike, you’re a major rock star. My heart has been genuinely affected by meeting you, and I hope that everyone at home feels the same way. Richard, you deserve to win so much.
Simon Cowell then expressed his admiration and highlighted Richard’s development:
“You’ve stepped up to the plate, and we all need a hero right now. You are the hero in our eyes.
Judge Howie Mandel then spoke, referring to Richard as a “hero” and projecting his win with assurance. He told Richard that he thought Goodall would win and that this performance was his “$1 million moment.”
Overwhelmed by the warm remarks, Richard expressed his love and gratitude to America and his hometown in a humble manner.
