The test, which utilizes advanced technology to identify Circulating Tumor Cells (CTCs) in the bloodstream, is designed primarily for asymptomatic individuals aged 40 and above.
Priced between AED 7,000 and AED 8,000 (approx. $1,900–$2,200 USD), the test requires no fasting or special preparation and offers an accuracy rate exceeding 95%. Doctors emphasize that this screening is a “game-changer” for identifying “silent” killers—such as pancreatic, liver, and lung cancers—that often go undetected until advanced stages.
The Department of Health – Abu Dhabi has also made the test available to eligible Emirati citizens, marking a significant shift toward preventive healthcare in the region.
