The project will be developed in partnership with Humain, the Kingdom’s state-backed AI initiative, and supported by Nvidia’s high-performance computing hardware. The announcement was made during an investment forum in Washington, D.C., where Saudi officials and xAI representatives emphasized the importance of regional AI infrastructure. A facility of this scale can power millions of AI queries per second, support advanced model training, and enable widespread deployment of xAI’s chatbot, Grok, across the Middle East.
